That one time J graduated from law school

The morning of (above). As you can see we aren't morning people.

My grad gift to J: A Jonathan Adler bull sculpture! A reminder to always be bullish in life and career.

On campus before commencement.

I'm so proud.

Getting ready to walk.

J's section had to be moved indoors at the last minute because of rainy weather (above).

Me with J's brother's girlfriend, waiting for commencement to start.

Stepping up to plate to accept his law degree.

Droves of newly minted Georgetown lawyers (above), clutching their hard-earned degrees.

After commencement a grad reception was held under a tent in a courtyard on campus.

Georgetown Hoyas!

Three generations of J's family.

Me with friends at our grad dinner.

A table for all 10 of us.

The happy couple!

I was going to write something profound about life, law school, change and determination but...I'm out of time! Our apartment is now completely empty (save for our two sleeping bags we're using for camping), we dropped our guests off at the airport this morning, and after we finish cleaning we are OUT OF HERE!!! Short goodbye post to come...I hope.

Yay for graduation! It's good to know that this too shall pass - two years to go for us. :)

I love the graduation robes! My hubs won't get that neat floppy hat though.
